Database: Table dbo schema

Tables created by the unimate setup are now using the dbo schema in the database.

Management Service: ssh optimization

The behavior of SSH scripts was adjusted by removing the auto-accept of certificates due to changes in the SSH client behavior.

REST Service: Additional API endpoints

Additional API endpoint whoami to get the roles of the current user.

REST Service: heartbeat tracking

The heartbeat tracker of unimate now also tracks the availability of the REST-Service

REST Service: Session token lifetime

The session token provided by the REST Service now has an expiration timespan of 24 hours.

REST Service: language Endpoint - Empty list of languages

If the unimate environment has no languages specified, the list of available languages now includes the default language.

Fixed Issues

General: Fixed several minor translations

Management Service: Log file generation with tenants sharing the same name

The amount of logfiles generated has been fixed while using tenants which share the same name (i.e. Having two tenants. The first one called “Prod“ and the other one called “Production”). Exceeding this amount resulted in removing logfiles earlier than expected for the first tenant.

REST Service: Expired Token error code

Expired tokens now return errorcode 403 instead of 500.

Service Bus: Active MQ and JDBC Driver Update

Fixed a bug caused by the previous release which caused the database Of unimate to grow at a high rate.

Studio: Misuse of Datatype domain

Fixed an error when using the datatype domain unintentional which prevented the unimate Studio to load the list of tenants.

Webinterface: New Time Control elements

Fixed an error which caused newly created time control starting elements of a workflow to fail to start.

Webinterface: Remove Columns from data types

Fixed an error when removing a property from the data schema which had an index.

Core: Scheduler - Next execution date

In the scheduler the data of the next execution was misleading for workflows which aren’t schedules. This is displayed now correctly.

Studio: Load Data - Treat document key as property

The document key can now be used as a property for filtering the load data module.

Data Transformation Wizard - CSV Import seperator

The seperator can now be specified in the CSV importer of the DTW.

Classic form generator: Do not show call stack details to user

The user will now see an error message with an error-ID instead of the callstack. The complete error message with the respective ID can be found in the log.

Identity Dashboard - Hide certain Identities

The Identity dashboard only displays identities which don’t have the hide in adressbook flag.

Core: Remove SQL-2019 requirement

CPAM Integration - Integrate unattended setup

As part of the installation of the unimate, we integrated the option to add CPAM when installing unimate. By default this is installed to allow a easier access to the customer.

This option installs the CPAM Client (Gatekeeper) unattended and perform the configuration steps automatically.

The default time has been changed to once a day.

unimate Studio: Resume Workflows

Mark scripts as "temporary" for less harddisk IO.

Temporary files are kept in memory as long as possible. If they get deleted before memory pressure forces to write them to disk, the disk IO will be reduced.

Using the unimate CmdLet function Find-Parents, the name of the relation cannot be specified.

Workaround: After each parent has been retrieved, we can filter them by the required relation type when using an older version.

The transformation preview does not work.

Service Portal: Pictures from database are not working

Service Portal: more stability for BOB Dashboard

If you create BOBs without required fields, the BOB Dashboard had some issues to display these data. We added more stability to this.

Agent: TaskReminder crashing the service

Issue: SBDEV-1345

Fixed instance crashes.

Management Service: Workflow Initiator values incorrect

If you have changed values of the Identity and this one just start a new workflow, it could appear that old values were use as the cache was not directly updated

This error is fixed now.

Management Service: Save Document is successful, but did not save

If you have removed a column from a schema, save document says successful, but did not save the document.

This error is fixed now.

Service Portal: Form-Generator value injection issue

Due to a penetration test, we found an issue with value injection, which could be done in special cases.

This is fixed now.

Service Portal: Gadget IGA data (table view) not sorting as expected

The sorting of the data is incorrect.

This error is fixed now.

Service Portal: Changing representative is not displayed correctly

If you change your representative in the Service Portal, some components does not get the update and display the old value.

This error is fixed now.

Service Portal: Delegation task does causes an error

If you want to delegate a task through the service portal, you get an error.

This error is fixed now.

Service Portal: Role-Dashboard could not be changes

If you add a gadget to a Role-Dashboard these change is not saved

This error is fixed now.

Service Portal: Data Tree: Removing relation does not work

Removing a relation in the data tree (development mode) does not work.

This error is fixed now.

Service Portal: Returning from vacation popup does not work.

If you are unavailable and start the Service Portal, the popup to set “I am back” is not displayed.

This error is fixed now.

Service Portal: Data tree: Changing relations does not send update notifications..

If you change a relation in the data tree no notifcation is send to the backend to update cache.

This error is fixed now.

Studio: Can not select an identity in Decisions and E-Mails

The selection dialog is empty, so that you are not able to select an identity.

This error is fixed now.

Studio: Adding a Variable in the source code of a form does not add this to the workflow

If you add a variable to the source code of a form this is not added to the workflow. You have to click to designer mode.

This error is fixed now.

Fixed Issues

Management Service: Supervisor stopped working causing performance issues

If you calculate an escalation with a datetime variable you got a Workflow state error and the supervisor stopped working which causes performance issues.

This error is fixed now.

Management Service: New sendmail feature takes more than 30sec per mail

If the certificate from the SMTP server is not trusted and cannot be validate via internet, sending a mail took more than 30sec.

This error is fixed now.

Service Portal: Backward search in a control is not working

If you add a variable to a form, which uses backward searching it didn´t displayed values.

This error is fixed now.

Service Portal: Password with an € sign does not work

If you used a password with a € sign, the login failed.

This error is fixed now.

Service Portal: Table View Gadget does not show data

The Gadget Table view was not working with the new database model.

Breaking Changes

Database Structure & Permissions

Due to performance improvements the database structure was changed is not backward compatible. If you want to change the Schema in the IGA Studio, you must have dbo permissions.

For more information, see the upgrade requirements.

No Support for older OS / SQL Server Versions

IGA supports Windows Server 2019 and above and SQL Server 2019 and above.

Older versions are no longer supported.

Identity Dashboard - Report

It is now possible to generate reports based on an Identity directly through the Identity Dashboard.

BOB Dashboard - Report

It is now possible to generate reports based on an Business Object directly through the BOB Dashboard.

Improvements

General: Performance Improvements

The Data structure model changed from XML to native tables, because of a lack in performance in XML.

This improves the Performance up to 5 times or more.

Extended SMTP Support

With IGA 2024 is it possible to use MS 365 as SMTP Server with OAuth Authentication, an encrypted SMTP Server with Basic Authentication via StartTLS or the former used SMTP Server connection with AD Authentication.

ActiveMQ Stomp activation

As a preparation for the new Service Portal ActiveMQ Stomp is now additionally activated.

Database Maintenance Service

The Cleanup Service is now called Database Maintenance Service.

As improvement of this, it deleted outdated data from the database, based on the Expires Attribute.

Fixed Issues

Studio: Workflow commit within transfer without function

Within a transfer workflows and modules are not committed.

This error is fixed now.
