Platform Support Policies

The table below outlines Imprivata’s support lifecycle for third party components. The lifecycle is divided into four standard categories. See the section at right for platforms that utilize this lifecycle.

For more information on the qualifications of third-party components, see the Enterprise Access Management - SSO and Enterprise Access Management - MFA Supported Components pages. Imprivata also recommends that you check with your vendor for recommended configuration.

	Early Adoption	Recommended	Transitional	Retired
Description	Imprivata is evaluating whether these platforms can become Recommended. Not all Early Adoption platforms will become Recommended.	Imprivata recommends these platforms for use in production with Imprivata components.	These are older platforms that were previously Early Adoption or Recommended platforms. New Imprivata releases may no longer be evaluated on Transitional platforms.	Platforms are generally Retired when the platform's vendor ends primary support.
Guidance	We advise limiting the use of these platforms to non-production environments and limited proofs-of-concept.		Organizations should plan to transition from these platforms and upgrade to a newer version before the platform is Retired.	We recommend selecting a different platform.
