About CPAM
Customer Privileged Access Management (CPAM) is an Imprivata application that enables vendors to provide remote and secure support for their customers. With CPAM, vendors can launch secure connections and provide remote support to their customers. CPAM functionality is accomplished by installing a Gatekeeper on the customer's side. By using this Gatekeeper, vendors can obtain access to customer assets. Assets include the customer's:
-
Data
-
Services (Software, Infrastructure, and Platform)
-
Applications
During each secure connection initiated by a vendor, the CPAM server monitors the activity and provides detailed logs for audit.
