Upgrading Enterprise Access Management with MFA 24.2 to 25.1 on G4 Appliances

Upgrade to the Latest Available Hotfix of 24.2

Security Advisory

Per the EAM Security Advisory, to secure your environment, Imprivata strongly recommends that you upgrade to 24.2 HF8. For more information, see Upgrading 24.2 to the Latest Available Hotfix.

Required Upgrade Prerequisite

To ensure a smooth upgrade experience, install the June 15, 2026 security hotfix for your current release level before applying any subsequent EAM hotfixes or upgrades.

After installing the June 15 security hotfix for your current release level, you will be able to:

• Install future hotfixes for your current release level as they become available.

• Upgrade to higher release levels, for example 24.x to 25.x, once a post-June 15 hotfix is available for that higher release level.

• Upgrade directly to EAM 26.1 HF3 or later.

  IMPORTANT:

  EAM 26.1 HF3 is only available on request from Imprivata support. You can only upgrade to it if you have first installed the June 15 security hotfix.

• Upgrade to EAM 26.2 and all subsequent major releases.
