Conventions
For a better overview and easier orientation, the following rules apply to the documentation:
Separate versus linked notation
Separate spellings refer to Imprivata product names, whereas a linked spelling - i.e. with a hyphen - indicates the general meaning of the term.
Example
"Management Server" explicitly refers to the <unimate Management Server>.
"Management-Server" is used in connection with the general use of these servers.
Presentation methods
Menu commands, dialog box names and list box entries, e.g. Extras > Options > System settings
GUI elements such as icons, buttons, etc. that can be clicked, e.g. the Start button
Text entries, e.g. variable values such as first name
unimate variables, e.g.: VM - Name
References of any kind, such as chapter references, jump labels, etc.
Paragraphs marked in this way provide important background information.
Support
Imprivata offers support at the following times: Monday to Friday from 09:00 to 17:00.
The availability of support via telephone, fax and e-mail depends on the availability of the telecommunications services. Based on the line availability granted by the telecommunications service providers, Imprivata support can only guarantee customers a line availability of 97%. The connection availability is the actual availability determined for an evaluation period of 12 months in relation to the total number of theoretically possible connection hours.
Support is not available on public holidays in North Rhine-Westphalia. On 24.12. and 31.12. of a year, support can only be reached in the mornings until 12:00 noon.
