Customer Privileged Access Management (CPAM) from Privileged Access Security (PAS) allows secure remote desktop access for the customer support of Imprivata.
It is a service running on the unimate management server opening a encrypted connection to cloud hosted server. Imprivata customer support can use this to open a remote desktop session to access the unimate management server.
The Customer Privileged Access Management is an optional feature and serves as an alternative to a common VPN access, to ensure Imprivata can assist you in the best way possible. If this functionality is not needed, you are able to disable it during the installation.
A valid Windows account and password is still required to sign into the desktop.
The required registration codes are shipped with your license.
