Reordering Patient Identifiers
You can configure the display order of patient identifiers for authentication and enrollment in any location in your installation.
By default, the patient identifier order is inherited from the parent location. If no display order is set at any level, the patient identifiers are displayed in alphabetical order.
Epic Integration and Epic Kiosk support a single patient identifier. For more information, see Epic Integration Settings.
The display order for patient identifiers for Authentication and Enrollment are configured separately; they do not inherit from each other.
To customize the order of patient identifiers:

In the Admin Console, go to Settings > Locations.
The Locations page opens.

Select the location where the settings will apply. Changes will be made to the location you select and all locations below it, but not to any lateral locations.

Click Options and select Reorder Patient Identifiers.
The Reorder Patient Identifiers dialog opens.

Drag and drop the patient identifier items in the order in which they should be displayed on the client.

Configure the patient identifier display order in the Authentication and Enrollment lists separately.

Click Save.

To clear all the changes and start over from settings inherited from the parent, click Reset to Inherit.
