Defining the Biometric Type
You can configure your installation to enroll, authenticate, and verify patients using palm scanning.
To define which biometric to use:

In the Admin Console, go to Settings > Biometrics.

In the Biometric Type field, select Palm.

Click Save.

To configure palm vein settings:

Review the palm vein settings and make changes, as needed:
Authentication Medium Score Threshold When Authentication Palm Scoring is ON, set the acceptable score for an authentication palm. Anything below this score will be considered Weak.
Click the field and enter a value, or select a value from the list.
The default setting is 1300.
Authentication Palm Scoring Enable palm scan scoring for authentication scans.
The default setting is OFF.
Authentication Strong Score Threshold When Authentication Palm Scoring is ON, set the lower limit that determines a strong authentication palm scan. Any score below this value and equal to or above the Authentication Medium Score Threshold is Medium.
Click the field and enter a value, or select a value from the list.
The default setting is 1500.
Developer Key Override Specify the Fujitsu key to use for the site.
The default setting is standard.
Enrollment Palm Scoring Enable palm scoring for enrollment scans and turn on Override reports.
The default setting is OFF.
Enrollment Score Threshold When Enrollment Palm Scoring is ON, set the acceptable score for an enrollment palm scan that does not require an override.
Click the field and enter a value, or select a value from the list.
The default setting is 1250.

To clear all the changes and start over with the latest saved settings, click Reset.

Click Save.

To change an individual setting to its default, click Reset to default next to the setting name. The setting will be reset and saved.
