Setting Up Locations
After you set up one or more hospital systems, you can define the hierarchy of locations in your installation. Imprivata PatientSecure provides a range of options to configure your installation from the top level, an organization, to the lowest level, an individual machine:

Machine
Changes made at the organization level are inherited by each subordinate level of your installation. If you customize a setting below the organization level, the change is inherited from that level to its subordinate levels, for example:

For organization A, all settings you select are inherited by all facilities, departments, and machines in that organization.

For organization A, Facility B, any setting you change is inherited by all departments and machines in Facility B, but not in its peers in the organization, Facility A and Facility C.
