Exporting Computer Policies
You can export computer policies to an XML file, allowing you to retain a snapshot for diagnostic, troubleshooting, or other purposes. For example, you could export a policy before making changes to retain a record of the original settings.
The exported XML file shows reference information, including the appliance of origin, policy name, and number of assigned computers. See Policy Export Elements for a detailed list.
To export computer policies:
- In the Imprivata Admin Console, go to Computers > Computer policies, and select any policies you want to export. You can select policies singly or in groups.
- Click Export at the top of the policy list, and then Save in the confirmation dialog.
Note: If you select multiple policies for a single export, they will be saved to a single XML file. If you want to have one XML file per policy, you should export one at a time.
