Imprivata Patient Access 2025.5 contains the following new features and technology updates.
New Features
Update Enrollment Photo
When a patient whose face or appearance has changed significantly takes a photo to authenticate, this feature allows the registrar to decide to use that authentication photo as a new enrollment photo (if the quality is high enough) to help improve accuracy and ensure patient photos remain up to date. This feature eases the workload on registrars, helps to increase accuracy, and speeds up the check-in process.
Enroll to Verify
In the identify workflow, a registrar should attempt to identify a patient before enrolling them. When the registrar attempts to enroll a patient, who is already enrolled, Patient Access automatically switches to the verify workflow so that they can be sure they selected the correct record. The interface also advises the registrar of the proper workflow, so that they can follow the correct process with the next patient.
